Most people want to know if the vitamin B12 injections are painful.Fact is that many people find them to be a little painful since they are given deep under the skin.The shots may also be administered through the intramuscular injection which will cause pain to the person taking shots.Apart from the pain associated with injections,side effects,although rare,range from less serious to the serious ones.Serious side effects like the Muscle pain,Muscle cramps,Skin rash,Heart palpitations etc,. are possible.Who needs these vitamin B 12 injections?Those showing the vitamin B12 deficiency symptoms like the fatigue and anemia are required to take the vitamin b12 supplements or resort to the B12 shots.Using vitamin B12 has also been reported to help with the chronic fatigue syndrome.Regular administration of the shots has been linked to improved symptoms of CFS.Other symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency are Confusion,Shortness of breath and Diarrhea.If you suffer from these symptoms,then it is high time you visited a doctor and have blood tests done.Blood tests could clearly indicate whether the symptoms are due to the deficiency in vitamin or some other problems existing in your body.
